Free HIV testing: Walk-in or call for appointment
If you know your status you can be connected to care, and help enhance your quality of life. STI screening is done by collecting a urine (pee) sample testing for both gonorrhea and chlamydia.
Testing is Monday walk-in basis. Your results are given back in 4 business days. You can also receive testing at any of our health Pachangas, which are held the 3rd Friday of month on a walk-in basis.
Call ahead for an HIV or STI test – Oragold, which is a small finger stick, gives results in ten minutes.
Our comprehensive approach takes into account CDC reports that women accounted for nearly one in five (19%) new HIV infections in the United States and addressing the fact that Youth aged 13 to 24 accounted for more than 1 in 5 new HIV diagnoses in 2014.
Because people of color, and young adults comprise disproportionately high percentages of individuals living with HIV and those with undiagnosed HIV infections SOCUE integrates and multi-cultural wellness models including prevention, intervention and treatment.
Participants are given safe space and individualized resources to provide comprehensive referrals into the HIV continuum of care. Our programs are successful because SOCUE has a social justice framework that addresses underlying issues of health disparities such as HIV, gender, sexuality, race and economic opportunities.
You can come in anytime during operating hours for free water based and silicone lubricants, dental dams, and condoms. We provide both male and female condoms, and can provide referrals for other types of contraception.
